Thankful

I am so thankful that Thanksgiving is over and people can stop complaining about how all the stores are rushing the season! In my experience (in retail), customers started asking for Christmas Ornaments in AUGUST! They would give them for gifts or wedding presents for loved ones. I wish that everyone who complains, would just realize, other's have reasons for doing what they do. Retail agents have a job to do-it's to serve the public and fulfil the wishes of their customer if they can (that's the reason the customer comes back to that establishment!) So now that Christmas is on it's way, I wonder what people will find to complain about?!!

November 2012

Where did October go? I am not ready for November! 22 Years ago, today, my beloved Aunt Dot passed away. Not a day has passed that I have not thought of her and I still miss her in my life. She was my constant! I am blessed with friends, but she was the best friend and Aunt a girl could ever have, I was lucky to be raised by her! So on with life! No presents are wrapped yet! 54 days until Christmas, too! I must be getting older-moving slower.... We are in the process of putting the trains together for the Christmas Season, a much larger layout for this year, sure hope I have enough houses in the Villiage! But, really I need to think of Thanksgiving Dinner before I start worring about Christmas! We are having company this year for dinner so I will be real busy! I will host a dinner for our Son's girlfriend's birthday, in the week ahead (always been a 'tradition' of sorts for me to make dinner for that special person in my life). It will be fun!
