Belated Birthday

Happy Belated Birthday to you G, as always, I am so blessed to have you in my life! I couldn't ask for a truer friend, as the meaning of 'True Blue' and 'Steadfast' suits you!

I have so much fun spending time with you, whether we are watching a movie, designing cards, or playing a 'quick game of dominoes'! Oh, yes, and making you dinner for your special day--this year Chicken Parmesan, Garlic Loaf, Salad--I offered to make a Birthaday Pie (after seeing the 'Help' with you, I will never look at a pie in the same way!!), as you don't like cake, but you wanted the same old(same ole) home baked Chocolate Chip Cookies (warm, fresh out of the oven!) with Homemade Ice Cream! I think I enjoy your Birthday more than my own!!

Spring has Sprung!

Early that is! My flowers are coming up and the Daffodils are in bloom already! My 'Bleeding Heart' (I always thought that was a funny name for this wild flower!) are also blooming! Our little 'Robbin' (as we call her) has built a new nest among the branches of our 'Sweet Bay Magnolia'- just outside of our front door, and messing with poor little(?) Thackery's brain! Although, he may be getting used to her pecking at the storm door as he is laying in the sunshine! Who knows,they may become the best of friends, by the end of summer! One can only hope...

This week brings the Easter Season upon us and with WSU back in session for Spring Quarter, keeps this family very busy, our son with his classes, I have already started my 'Spring Cleaning' (Yuck! I'd rather be in my craft room!). It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it! My Husband is busy working and playing outside with yard work! So much for 'Retirement'!

Atlanta

In my husband's job, he sometimes travels. A couple of weeks ago, I got to accompany him on a short trip to Indianapolis, Indiana! This week, I got to accompany him again, we drove to Heartsfield International Airport in Atlanta,Georgia, to drop off parts. We spent the night in a neighboring town, then drove home today. It was an interesting trip---

We were on the out-skirts of 2 of the tornado ravaged areas in Kentucky, it was sad, but everyone was busy cleaning up and setting things in order.

I wonder where our travels will lead us next?

March Tornadoes

Our hearts and prayers go out to all the people in the tornado ravaged States, especially those nearby in Moscow, Bethel,& Felicity,OHIO, we have ridden there a couple of times for the scenery, our thoughts are with all of you. (At the risk of making this 'all about me') I know how you feel, I too, have been there, I am from Xenia, OHIO. Best Wishes to all of you.
